Content Marketing Manager

Who Are We?

Maverick Nation has a mission to create social impact in Poland and CEE by building more startup success stories from the region. We work with governments, investors and go-to-market players to create opportunities for startups in our community. In two years from now, we will focus on Latin America as well.

Our Key Audience​

  • Startups, HNIs and VCs in Poland/CEE and USA (HNI = High Networth Individuals)
  • Governments in CEE and other emerging countries
  • (By 2024) Latin America will be added to the scope<br>

What Your Day Job Looks Like

  • Creating content and driving engagement on social media – LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  • Attracting visitors to website (driving traffic to the website)
  • Building Maverick Nation brand among the key audiences mentioned above
  • Writing creative and catchy copy for social media, landing pages, ads and blogs
  • Generating ideas and inputs for rich media content (graphics, video, audio, etc) and working with specialists to actually create it
  • Building your own network by talking to people, lots of people



The Absolute Basic Qualities You Must Possess

  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Copywriting skilks in English
  • Being able to connect with people, i.e., you are a people-person
  • Have a global mindset; most of our audience is global
  • Be hungry for self-development – learn by reading and experimenting 

What Will Definitely Impress Us

  • At least 2 years in Marketing, preferably in an Agency or a startup
  • International study or experience
  • Content marketing experience
  • You are creative with language and messaging
  • You are a natural story-teller
  • Self-starter – you have a drive to figure stuff out by yourself  
  • You don’t just work on tasks, you work on goals and results 
  • You live in social media and can showcase a following of your own (it doesn’t have to be big or within our audience).
 

How You Are Compensated

  • Market-level salary
  • Commissions / bonuses based on achieving yours and company’s G&Os
  • International company travel budget allocated to you (we take this very seriously)
  • Exposure to clients and investors
  • Commitment of the leadership towards your growth in areas other than Marketing (if you want)
